The heater can be used in wet and damp locations (outdoor or indoors).

Our outdoor heater can have thermostatic, time switch and passive infrared control, these can be set to switch on at a predetermined time and temperature. For instance in a beer garden on a cool evening when a customer sits at a table the passive infra red detector will turn on the heater instantly, giving the customer a nice warm feeling and enticing them to stay.

The heater has an IP X5 rating. Rain and Hose proof. N.S.A.I. approved.

The ceramic cover protecting elements ensures that heater is always working at 100% efficiency unlike other types of quartz heaters where the reflector is exposed to the ingress of moisture and dust thus reducing the efficiency of the heater. The ceramic cover also protects the lamp terminals thereby lengthening the life of the lamps and keeping the reflector clean for maximum efficiency. The cooling fan ensures that all heat generated inside the heater is blown down into the area to be heated.
